Ubuntu Studio: Create audio, video and graphics on Linux

Ubuntu Studio is a Linux distribution that is geared towards people who are creating and editing multimedia. The original version was released in 2007. It is an officially recognized distribution of Ubuntu and is supported by Canonical. There are a lot of applications preinstalled so that a person can edit audio, video and graphics. Some of these apps are Audacity, Mixxx, PiTiVi, Kino, Stopmotion, VLC, Blender, Scribus, Gimp and others. If you like to manipulate graphics, audio and video than Ubuntu Studio is for you. It has a nice slogan which is 'let your creativity fly'. Ofcourse Ubuntu Studio is free to download and use. The only issue is that Ubuntu Studio is larger than regular Ubuntu distro. It is 1.2 GB so you need to burn the image on a DVD instead of a CD.
