Great torrent applications

Torrents are a great way to download large files. BitTorrent is a peer to peer file sharing protocol. The bandwith is spread among peers instead of downloading from one centralized server. Once you join a swarm you send chunks of your file to others while they are receiving data from you. With torrents you can download videos, audio, pictures, applications, image files and more.
